As a member of the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort team, you will interact with guests who have come to enjoy the wonders of the Great Smoky Mountains and assist them in experiencing our exceptional amenities, including the state-of-the-art Wild Bear Falls water park.

Position Overview

Acts as the primary point of contact for guests and team members upon arrival at the outlet and on the phone. Specifically responsible for the following detailed tasks.

As a Waterpark Cashier, your responsibilities will include:
  • Balancing daily financial transactions, including but not limited to: cash, vouchers, credit cards, and in-house charges.
  • Confirming and completing daily reservation lists, assisting all other roles in the department for support and collaboration.
  • Accepting approved payment methods in accordance with accounting standards (with full accountability) including cash, credit cards, vouchers, and in-house charges.
  • Adhering to all departmental cash/check handling procedures.
  • Welcoming all guests that arrive within the visible area.
  • Documenting information related to services provided.
  • Maintaining cash drawer/bank accountability in line with company policies.
  • Participating in the company’s monthly Goals & Measurements Program.
  • Providing excellent service to both owners and guests.
  • Executing POS system responsibilities as per guidelines.
  • Addressing guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Maintaining accurate departmental records.
  • Following guest walk-out procedures.
  • Completing opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Complying with departmental training standards.
  • Timely forwarding of vendor supply invoices/package item detail slips to the supervisor.
  • Ensuring compliance with departmental vehicle and key security protocols.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of team members and guests in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
