Position Title: Facilities Manager

Reports To: VP of Technology & Administration

Status: Exempt (Salaried)

Work Schedule: Full time, 40 hours; Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM & On Call Rotation

Location: Flat Rock, NC

Management Responsibilities:

  • Building Maintenance Vendors

Role Summary:

The Facilities Manager is accountable for the upkeep of the facilities, including buildings, grounds, and parking areas. This encompasses mechanical systems, water, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), ensuring that our environments are tidy, welcoming, and secure for all stakeholders. Responsibilities may involve direct action or oversight of staff, volunteers, subcontractors, or vendors, in alignment with organizational values and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve performance objectives and demonstrate Four Seasons values consistently.
  • Oversee facility repairs, maintenance, inspections, and cleanliness across all areas.
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of a preventative maintenance program.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and maintenance requests.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Facilities Team, ensuring skill alignment and growth.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all individuals.
  • Ensure satisfactory completion of work by staff or contractors, addressing any deficiencies.
  • Report issues or unsafe conditions to the VP of Technology & Administration.
  • Manage facility renovations and upgrades within budget and timelines.
  • Assess team competencies to maintain safe working conditions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent; courses related to facility maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum five years of general maintenance experience and supervisory experience.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Licensed Tradesman preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
