Job Title: Senior Manager, Strategic Planning

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Public Affairs team at Vail Resorts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Chief Public Affairs Officer in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and projects.

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. This will involve working closely with the Public Affairs Senior Leadership Team and key stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Work closely with the Public Affairs Senior Leadership Team and key stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that drive results
  • Lead and organize cross-functional meetings and communications to ensure effective collaboration and decision-making
  • Develop and implement Executive-level planning and communication tools to support strategic alignment and execution
  • Partner with the Chief Public Affairs Officer to support key areas of work and ensure timely and consistent communication to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • High potential leader with passion to learn and develop, and a proven track record of demonstrating drive, ambition, learning agility, and business acumen
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum of 5-7+ years leading cross-functional teams and developing strategy within the Retail or Tourism sectors
  • Experience reporting to and supporting a C-level executive, providing leadership/support on Strategy development and execution
  • High levels of resourcefulness, emotional intelligence, self-motivation, organization, and curiosity
  • Technology advocate and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required
