The Doubletree by Hilton Charlotte Center City is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for training, supervising, and working with culinary staff to prepare, cook, and present food according to hotel standard recipes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in the preparation of menu items, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Assign duties to employees under supervision for efficient kitchen operation.
  • Schedule culinary staff to maintain proper coverage while controlling payroll costs.
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of food products to comply with Health Department regulations.
  • Adhere to cost and quality control procedures.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of sous chef experience.
  • Culinary degree preferred.
  • Hotel experience or similar industry experience ideal.
