Sr. Sales Solutions Architect

This role requires a Sr. Sales Solution Architect to collaborate with sales and product teams to interpret customer requirements and deliver innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include pre-sales activities such as qualifying customers, site surveys, and creating systems designs aligned with our open-source value proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint
- Be the main technical resource on sales calls, educating customers and partners on features, specifications, functionality, integration, and compelling market trends
- Work with Corporate and Field Marketing teams to understand specific market needs and drive appropriate activities to positively impact market perception
- Demonstrate an understanding of ongoing service needs and manage expectations on both the customer and sales sides
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations showcasing key technical aspects of solutions benefiting customers and prospects
- Provide answers to client questions about products, services, and technical aspects of the Join platform
- Tailor demonstrations for customers, trade shows, and special events
- Think critically and suggest improvements leading to cost savings or other client benefits
- Collaborate with clients to problem-solve throughout the sales process
- Arrange and lead training for customers
- Research the industry to stay informed about changes impacting current and future sales
- Provide feedback to the team and R&D for process or product improvements as needed
- Contribute clear and accurate responses for RFPs and proposals
- Work with sales teams on presentations to ensure accuracy
- Perform site surveys for wired and wireless networks, designing and deploying networking and Wi-Fi systems
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of B2B sales engineering experience
- Past success managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Experience working at companies delivering disruptive and innovative technologies
- Extensive experience designing and building large wired and Wi-Fi networks
- Deep technical knowledge of computer networks and Internet security
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, capable of working across multiple projects
- Strong ability to present to audiences of all sizes, either at technical or management level (up to C-level)
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible
- Thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel +50% of the time to meet face-to-face with clients and prospects
