About the Role

As a key member of our team at Optum, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation and administration of assigned contracts. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business unit support in the implementation and administration of assigned contracts, including provider group outreach for document collection, database loading, and monitoring tasks to completion.
  • Oversee the loading and processing of provider contracts and amendments, utilizing various databases to perform these tasks.
  • Serve as a resource to others, providing guidance and support on complex issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2+ years of claims or data entry experience.
  • 6+ months of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
  • 6+ months of intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending, and reporting on metrics.
  • Ability to craft professional email correspondence.
  • Ability to work onsite during normal business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous contracting experience.
  • Experience in continuous process, efficiency, and quality improvement.
  • Experience with MS Excel (sorting, filtering, data entry, basic formulas) and MS PowerPoint (create presentations).
  • Experience with medical terminology.
  • Experience in SalesForce.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this position is $54.95 per hour. UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
