About the Role

As a Network Contracting Coordinator at Optum, you will play a critical role in the implementation and administration of assigned contracts. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business unit teams in the implementation and administration of assigned contracts.
  • Collaborate with provider groups to collect and load documents, and monitor tasks to completion.
  • Process and load provider contracts and amendments using various databases.
  • Serve as a resource to others, providing guidance and support on complex issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2+ years of claims or data entry experience.
  • 6+ months of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
  • 6+ months of intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending, and reporting on metrics.
  • Ability to craft professional email correspondence.
  • Ability to work onsite during normal business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous contracting experience.
  • Experience in continuous process, efficiency, and quality improvement.
  • Experience with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience with medical terminology.
  • Experience in SalesForce.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this position is $54.95 per hour. UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution.
