About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracting and Network Coordinator to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and administration of assigned contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business unit support in the implementation and administration of assigned contracts, including provider group outreach for document collection, database loading, and monitoring tasks to completion.
  • Oversee the loading and processing of provider contracts and amendments, utilizing various databases to perform these tasks.
  • Serve as a resource to others, providing guidance and support on complex issues with less structure.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2+ years of claims or data entry experience.
  • 6+ months of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
  • 6+ months of intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending, and reporting on metrics.
  • Ability to craft professional email correspondence.
  • Ability to work onsite during normal business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous contracting experience.
  • Experience in continuous process, efficiency, and quality improvement.
  • Experience with MS Excel (sorting, filtering, data entry, basic formulas) and MS PowerPoint (create presentations).
  • Experience with medical terminology.
  • Experience in SalesForce.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this position is $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
