Carrier's Commercial HVAC service division is seeking a proactive and skilled leader to oversee field operations transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will spearhead projects aimed at enhancing performance, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes for the service team. This role requires strategic thinking, project planning, and the ability to support execution as necessary.

About This Role

In this pivotal position, you will act as the primary contact for field operations and warranty enhancement projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for product launch and warranty processes within the Commercial HVAC service network.
  • Evaluate the product launch process, pinpoint areas for improvement, and collaborate with business process teams to implement standardized practices.
  • Analyze the strategic implications of product launches, including downstream dependencies.
  • Create a project plan to increase product launch volume, focusing on distributor partnerships, target product categories, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
  • Formulate a project plan to establish profitable pricing for product launches, assessing costs by product type and setting target margins.
  • Identify potential digital solutions and collaborate with digital partners for implementation.
  • Review warranty history to uncover cost-saving opportunities, including over-investment and necessary factory reimbursements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on quality-related costs to identify trends and opportunities for reduction.
  • Evaluate and optimize extended warranty pricing strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Commercial HVAC field service sector.
  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing complex business challenges and driving improvements.
  • 5+ years of experience with product launch and warranty processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in operations, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to effectively organize and lead projects.
  • Capability to develop strategies and execute tactical plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
  • Ownership mentality with a strong focus on achieving results.
  • Experience managing diverse project types, including digital technology and service operations.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and effective time management.
  • Ability to influence and manage non-direct reporting resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel, as well as project collaboration tools.
Pay Range:
$90,263 - $157,959 Annually
