Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Field Operatives to ensure adherence to safety and quality control protocols, conduct spot audits, and assist in customer consultation processes in remote locations without a local Service Manager or Branch Operations Manager.
- Conduct Observation-Based Safety Checks to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Perform Vehicle Safety and Satellite Shop Inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure PACE Driving Habits are being used by all drivers to promote safe driving practices.
- Participate in Safety-Related Investigations to identify root causes of incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Work Closely with Inside Sales Team to forward sales leads, collect necessary information for repair quotes, and verify accurate and complete information from field operatives.
- Conduct and Document Weekly Toolbox Talks to promote safety awareness and best practices.
- Provide Technical Support, Mentorship, and Direction to field operatives to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Serve as Project Manager on larger projects to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.
- Assist in Training and Evaluation of field operatives to ensure they meet company standards.
- Receive and Screen Calls from field operatives and inspectors, relay any necessary information to planners, and resolve complex technical problems.
- Coordinate Schedule with planners to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Stage, Organize, and Verify Equipment and Parts for jobs, as needed.
- Complete Customer Visits within the territory to collect information needed for projects, quotes for jobs, and service requests.
- Perform Field Work, including repairs, inspections, on-call work, troubleshooting, project management, installations, and warranty work.
- Assist Service Manager as needed with customers or people needs.
- Responsible for SP08 and SP09 Onsite Job Management, monitoring and reporting any potential warranty requests to the TOM prior to performing work.
- Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing and able to work off the ground, often at heights.
- Must be able to work varying overtime, as required by customer demand, be available for 'on call' as part of the service office rotation, and be able to travel and work out of town, on occasion.
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, 75 lbs, and 100 lbs.
- This position requires frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, and overhead reaching, as well as occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling.
- This position will be inside approximately 90% of the time and outside approximately 10% of the time.
- This position will be frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise, and heights.
