B2B Sales Professional

The B2B Sales Consultant is a key member of the Pella Corporation team, responsible for building strong relationships with trade industry professionals and promoting the Pella brand as the premier choice for window and door solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual sales goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, architects, professional remodelers, and trade organizations.
- Provide expert knowledge of Pella products and services to customers, identifying opportunities to grow their business and offer a single point of contact for their ongoing needs.
- Proactively originate new customer relationships through networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure successful after-sale service requirements and installations.
- Interact with the Account Receivable department to address any potential billing/payment issues.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage customer interactions and proactively communicate with customers.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and analyze documents related to contracts and work documents.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to verbally present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, and the general public.
- Must present a clean and neat physical appearance and strictly abide by company dress code.
- Ability to solve practical and arithmetic problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
The vast majority of travel will be local. Must be able to drive to showrooms, job sites, and customer/contractor locations, and required company functions at various locations.
