Job Title: Drug and Alcohol Navigator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Drug and Alcohol Navigator to join our team at System One. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify individuals' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide education and counseling on substance abuse and addiction, as well as mental health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community stakeholders to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, research, and evidence-based treatments to provide the highest quality care.
Requirements:
  • Certified or Registered Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC or RC) or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of job-related experience, with a focus on substance abuse and addiction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including those with co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid California Driver License, Proof of Car Insurance, Reliable transportation.
