Chief Development Officer

Girl Scouts of Western Ohio seeks a seasoned Chief Development Officer to lead our fundraising and marketing efforts. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to secure funding and resources for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of a multi-faceted fundraising strategy, including individual giving, corporate partnerships, and foundation grants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, including social media, email marketing, and event planning.
  • Manage a team of development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful fundraising efforts.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving fundraising goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising and development, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team of development professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
  • Experience with donor database management and fundraising software, such as Salesforce.
