Position Overview:
The Fire Alarm & Detection Technician Apprentice will work closely with the lead Alarm & Detection Technician to deliver exceptional customer service through on-site inspections, installations, repairs, and replacements of fire alarm systems. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within the fire protection industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of fire alarm systems
- Learn troubleshooting techniques for fire alarm systems
- Analyze blueprints and schematics
- Participate in preventive maintenance services

Qualifications:
- A strong desire to pursue a career in fire protection
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of NICET Level 1 exam within the first year of employment is mandatory
- Familiarity with technology such as iPads and smartphones
- Valid driver's license in accordance with company policy
- Clean appearance and reliable transportation
- Willingness to undergo a post-offer drug screen, background check, and reference check

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Regular bending, reaching, climbing, and walking
