THE POSITION


Canyon State Electric is currently in search of a highly qualified and driven Fire Safety Systems Specialist with NICET Level III certification to join our vibrant team.

This position is crucial for the effective installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of fire safety systems in accordance with industry regulations and local codes.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in upholding our dedication to safety and client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Install various fire safety systems, including wiring, devices, and control panels, in compliance with engineering specifications and adherence to local, state, and national regulations.

Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of fire safety systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Diagnose complex issues and propose enhancements for systems.


Perform thorough testing and commissioning of both new and existing fire safety systems to verify compliance with all requirements and operational functionality.

Accurately complete all required documentation, including service reports, testing logs, and compliance forms. Maintain comprehensive records of all inspections, maintenance, and repairs conducted.

Deliver exceptional customer service, providing clear communication and updates regarding the status and safety of their systems. Address client inquiries and ensure their satisfaction with the services rendered.

Stay informed about the latest fire protection regulations and standards. Ensure all tasks are executed in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and other relevant guidelines.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and fellow technicians to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion. Share expertise and assist in mentoring junior technicians.

QUALIFICATIONS:
NICET Level III certification in Fire Safety Systems is mandatory.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire safety systems.

Strong knowledge of fire safety system design, configuration, and operational requirements. Familiarity with various fire safety panels and devices.

Ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex systems in an accessible manner.

High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.


Ability to work in diverse environments, ascend ladders, operate in confined spaces, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
