Job Summary

CopperState Fire Protection is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Technician to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Fire Protection Technician, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with NFPA 72 standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to identify any defects or malfunctions
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices to ensure proper operation of fire alarm systems
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of NFPA standards and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to internal and external customers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in inspections, field service, and/or installation in the fire industry preferred
  • NICET I or higher or CSA Certification is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Ability to speak English fluently
