Position Overview
We are seeking a mid-level TS/SCI-cleared Geospatial Intelligence Strategy Analyst to become an integral part of our team.
In this capacity, you will evaluate a range of information and intelligence pertinent to the threats confronting the systems, assets, and resources vital to national security, and formulate relevant research studies and recommendations.
You will lead or engage in sanctioned studies as required. Additionally, you will provide supplementary analysis in response to specific threats and incident reports. You will oversee program and project execution while making substantial contributions to departmental objectives and strategic planning efforts.Essential Qualifications:
Experience as a geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) collection manager or source strategies analyst (SSA), including overseeing geospatial information requirements within GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS)
Familiarity with GEOINT tasking and collection methodologies and protocols
Understanding of national, commercial, and airborne GEOINT sensors and their capabilities
Knowledge of multi-INT sources and their functionalities
Ability to operate independently or collaboratively to devise GEOINT collection strategies
Capacity to work with GEOINT analysts to dissect challenges and develop effective collection methodologies
Ability to engage with partners across the intelligence community (IC) and DoD to foster innovation and facilitate intelligence integration
Educational Background & Certification:
High School diploma or GED
GIMS Certification and active account status
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience as an adjudicator within GIMS
Experience as an imagery or geospatial analyst
Familiarity with GIMS Advanced Search and Netcentric GEOINT Discovery Services (NGDS)
Knowledge of multidisciplinary intelligence (MDI) or event portal strategy (EPS) development
Ability to promote interagency collaboration
BA or BS degree preferred; MA or MS degree is advantageous
Security Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
