Role Responsibilities

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Imagery Analyst - Journeyman. The responsibilities associated with this position include:

  • Conducting thorough research using relevant databases to enhance information accuracy.
  • Producing standard imagery analysis products in alignment with NGA guidelines.
  • Collaborating effectively with various organizations within the NSG, ASG, and IC to improve collection, research, analysis, and production processes.

Essential Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possess an active Top-Secret/SCI security clearance at the time of application and be willing to undergo a CI polygraph if requested.
  • Three to ten years of relevant experience, supported by a High School diploma and specialized training. A Bachelor's degree in a related field may account for up to 4 years of experience, while a Master's degree can add an additional 2 years.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, GIS, geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcView, and others for analyzing geospatial data.
  • Ability to comprehend intelligence issues and military affairs, utilizing GIS to create Geospatial Intelligence reports and products.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of Formal/Advanced Military IA Training or equivalent.
  • Proven knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes, and sensors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilizing soft copy and multi-spectral exploitation functionalities.
  • In-depth proficiency in RemoteView, IEC, NES, and Microsoft Office.
  • Conducting imagery analysis against targets using various platforms to identify and monitor strategic facilities.
  • Performing Full Motion Video Analysis (FMV) as required.
  • Researching and producing standard imagery analysis products from various databases.
  • Collaborating with other analysts in the Intelligence Community during the analysis and product generation phases.
  • Identifying technology gaps and supporting the integration of new imagery technologies.
  • Ensuring quality control on analytical outputs.
  • Generating summary reports, detailed graphics, and daily briefings.
  • Extracting and plotting coordinates using diverse map scales and datums.
  • Creating and managing metadata.
  • Conducting multi-INT research to enhance imagery analysis.
  • Developing shapefiles and geo-databases to support intelligence analysis.
  • Managing multiple tasks while adapting to changing requirements.
  • Utilizing ESRI's Arc Suite and other relevant software tools.

Work Environment

This position requires collaboration within a team setting and will be conducted on-site.
