Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman-level Geospatial Analyst with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will leverage your GIS analysis experience to assist a national security client. You will collaborate with a government-contractor team to deliver geospatial analysis and research that meets mission requirements, including route analysis and comprehensive site assessments. A robust geospatial background and the ability to independently conduct research and initiate projects are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with clients and team members, creating, editing, researching, evaluating, analyzing, and integrating data from various sources to produce timely and comprehensive geospatial intelligence maps and related products.
- Develop geospatial products and present intelligence assessments to clients, advising leadership on pertinent intelligence issues and challenges.
- Utilize strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate with analysts across the customer agency, military service branches, and national-level intelligence organizations.
- Contribute to the formulation and documentation of analytical procedures, maintain geodatabases, and may be tasked with educating others on new methodologies and advanced GIS applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant geospatial and GIS analysis experience. A bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for up to four years of experience.
- Proficiency in producing dynamic GEOINT products.
- Strong familiarity with various tools including ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcView, ArcIMS, ArcTools, IEC system, SocetSet, SocetGXP, TerraExplorer/Builder, Remote View, ERDAS IMAGINE, MRSID, VB/VBA, Python (or similar programming/scripting languages), Oracle, and other relevant software for geospatial data analysis.
- Ability to comprehend intelligence issues and military affairs, utilizing GIS to generate Geospatial Intelligence reports and products to address challenges.
- Experience in GIS encompassing data integration, extraction, and management.
- Capability to operate in ArcGIS, ArcPRO, or other commercial GIS analytic software.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently while leading teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
- Experience briefing senior staff officers to influence decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and provide guidance to analysts to foster effective client relationships.
- Experience in supporting analysis related to WMD mission areas.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant geospatial and GIS analysis experience. A bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for up to four years of experience.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Salary Range: $60,000+ based on qualifications and experience.
