Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized expertise and guidance to clients and project teams on geospatial intelligence, policy, and administration.
  • Assess and facilitate the discoverability and accessibility of commercial geospatial intelligence data and services.
  • Inform the integration of new data sets across multiple classified and unclassified domains to both US Government and Allied systems.
  • Coordinate with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) to integrate solutions into the Geospatial Intelligence Enterprise Architecture (GEA).
  • Ensure quality is an integral part of the development, design, and delivery of commercial geospatial intelligence products or services.
  • Monitor products and services throughout the life cycle, validating and verifying adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities.
  • Manage and lead quality assurance activities.
  • Work closely with assigned staff, senior specialists, or task leads, and may direct the activities of specialists or other staff as necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and briefings for senior leadership across the Intelligence Community (IC) and Agency.
  • Support the development and enforcement of national, IC, and NGA policies and regulations governing the licensing and operation of commercially owned remote sensing systems.
  • Coordinate NGA and IC positions on commercial remote sensing system license requests.
  • Provide secretariat support to the NGA-led Commercial Remote Sensing Working Group.
  • Provide administrative support to the chair of the IC Commercial Space Council.
  • Review and revise management and governance policies, instructions, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop documentation and guidance to support commercial remote sensing system license management processes.
  • Facilitate cross-agency and cross-office engagements through regular meetings of working groups at senior and action officer levels.
  • Identify and support business process improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and briefings for senior leadership across the IC and Agency.
Requirements
  • At least 11-14 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial geospatial intelligence, including validating and verifying adherence to specified policies and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience routinely interacting with senior-level personnel, including key component directors.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with teams of subject matter experts, sharing knowledge with others, and working as a team member.
  • Demonstrated experience advising and assisting with strategic planning and policy development, with a focus on providing expert strategic-level assistance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within a related field.
Security Clearance Requirement
  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with a willingness to take and pass a CI Polygraph.
