Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Manage delivery schedules and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the order process.
  • Communicate with customers to collect accounts receivable and work with the credit department to resolve any issues.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products to provide value-added services to customers.
  • Drive a motor vehicle to visit customers and prospects, which may require lifting and carrying up to 75lbs.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry or culinary experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability and organization skills.
  • Team-oriented mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management tools.

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, which may involve variable weather and temperature conditions.
