Position Overview:
As a Fire Systems Technician II, your primary responsibilities will include the testing, maintenance, and compliance assurance of fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and other essential life safety equipment. This role encompasses conducting inspections, performing both corrective and preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all systems adhere to local, state, and national regulations, as well as industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire protection systems.
  • Perform maintenance and testing of fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
  • Assist in the execution of fire drills and maintain accurate documentation of inspections.
  • Support building maintenance efforts to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection systems.
  • Experience in fire systems testing, inspection, and installation.
  • Familiarity with Simplex and/or Siemens Apogee systems.
  • NICET Level 1 and 2 fire protection certifications.

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Experience in healthcare facility environments.
  • Knowledge of HVAC controls.
