Your Responsibilities

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will engage in programming, commissioning, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of fire and security systems in accordance with contractual obligations.

Your Approach

You will assist seasoned personnel in resolving system issues, either through troubleshooting or by providing guidance to others. A solid understanding of core and third-party fire and security products, as well as software and electrical technology, is essential.
You will also aid in the preparation of necessary commissioning documentation and ensure accurate information for as-built documentation.

Adhering to safety standards and local and national regulations is crucial, with a strong emphasis on the safety of both employees and subcontractors.

Maintaining relevant local and national fire and security industry certifications is expected. You will communicate with customers upon arrival and prior to departure from the work site, ensuring proactive engagement and a thorough understanding of customer needs and existing systems.

Additionally, you will assist in monitoring project execution as per the plan and report any issues or changes to your supervisor or management. Completing required paperwork and on-site documentation is part of your duties, along with engaging in self-study to enhance your technical proficiency on necessary products and applications.

Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications We Seek
Required:
• High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the installation of fire or security systems.
• Electronics certification from an accredited technical institution or military electronics training is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively represent the company to clients and external contacts.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Preferred:
• NICET Level I Certification
• Prior experience in the fire/security industry with foundational knowledge of fire/security systems, database structures, network configurations, and analysis.
