This role involves the crucial responsibility of ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems within healthcare facilities. As a Fire Systems Technician II, you will engage in the testing, maintenance, and inspection of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and associated life safety equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of fire protection systems to ensure they meet local, state, and national regulations.
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
- Assist in the execution of fire drills and maintain accurate documentation of inspections.
- Support building maintenance efforts to uphold safety standards across facilities.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in fire systems testing, inspection, and installation.
- Experience with Simplex and/or Siemens Apogee systems.
- NICET Level 1 and 2 fire protection certifications.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in healthcare facility environments.
- Knowledge of HVAC controls.
