Ahern Co. offers an exciting opportunity for a Fire Sprinkler Sales Project Manager. We are recognized as one of the top specialty contractors and have a long-standing commitment to excellence in our field.
Your Contributions:
In this role, you will:
- Estimate new construction projects and upgrades for existing fire sprinkler systems.
- Utilize your persuasive skills to develop and expand a robust customer base.
- Apply your project management expertise to conduct preliminary designs and calculations for bid estimates.
- Prepare pricing for materials, labor, freight, and fabrication while sourcing competitive vendors to ensure our projects are competitively bid.
- Draft scope and quotation letters for clients and maintain detailed monthly estimate logs.
- Engage in regular discussions with management regarding estimating backlog and deadlines.
- Participate in turnover meetings and assist with follow-up information as required, actively managing projects alongside designers and construction superintendents.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of five years of experience in fire protection contracting.
- Experience in design, sales, project management, or field operations.
- A strong background in bidding and estimating processes.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
