We're seeking a dynamic and motivated Embedded Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our CPU IP into embedded segments such as microcontrollers, embedded control systems, storage, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Funnel Building and Hunting: Find and hunt new business opportunities at new customers, as well as additional opportunities and design sockets within existing strategic customers.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the embedded systems space utilizing SiFive's broad portfolio of embedded, edge, and automotive products.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Work closely with engineering and product teams to understand product specifications and convey technical features and benefits to customers.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive prospecting, client presentations, and negotiations.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Customer Support: Assist with post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product development, to align customer needs with product offerings.
Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related work experience in a technical field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of sales experience in embedded systems, or related technology sectors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, sensors, and software development for embedded devices. Familiar with the semiconductor ecosystem and supply chain.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets, strong negotiation, and relationship management skills. Value-based selling, with the ability to identify win-win situations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong initiative, self-driven, with the ability to solve problems and identify new opportunities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to meet with clients as required.
  • Team Player: Able to work collaboratively in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic, growing environment.
Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in IP Sales is highly preferable.
