Cybersecurity Sales Strategist

About the Role
The Cybersecurity Sales Strategist will be responsible for managing an account segment for our Cortex business, focusing on Majors, Enterprise, or Public Sector. This individual contributor role will engage in strategy, pipeline management, opportunity development, sales execution, and alignment, collaborating across different cross-functional sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster and extend a strong sense of community among embedded Cortex sellers to create a cohesive and motivated sales force.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and strategic direction for matrixed Cortex sales teams to achieve sales targets and drive success.
- Implement strategic Cortex sales plans and initiatives, particularly in the SecOps market, to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Develop and execute Cortex-specific sales strategies from inception to completion, ensuring programs deliver measurable results, including the QRadar program.
- Commit to training and development to equip Cortex sellers, Core Sales Leaders, and AEs with the knowledge needed to sell the full suite of Cortex products, including XSIAM.
- Optimize the performance of the sales teams by allocating resources effectively, working with Acceleration Teams and Cortex System Engineering.
- Collaborate with Core sales, Cortex Marketing, Product Management, Professional Services, Channel Sales, and Enablement to integrate sales and program strategies across the region.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a top-performing Account Manager or similar role, preferably for a multinational company.
- Sales excellence, with the ability to demonstrate planning, strategy, qualification, and execution.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
