Quality Control Laboratory Administrator

This is a full-time salary, non-exempt position that plays a key administrative role in supporting the Quality Control Laboratory.
Job Summary:The Quality Control Laboratory Administrator will manage inspections and analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to ensure compliance with cGMP/GLP standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests to ensure accurate, precise, and reproducible results on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Document data and report results in accordance with established SOPs and maintain legible laboratory logbooks.
- Conduct inspections using visual, mechanical, electronic equipment, and chemical analysis to identify sample imperfections.
- Create and distribute result reports for microbial, chemical, and physical tests as necessary.
- Maintain laboratory supplies by monitoring reagent and equipment stock and placing orders as needed.
- Prepare wet and dry samples for internal and external laboratory analysis.
- Assist in training and onboarding new staff in Quality Control procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to compile, analyze, and interpret data for cross-functional projects.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field required.
- 1-5 years of related experience required.
- Previous laboratory experience with basic laboratory skills (e.g., pipetting, weighing, dilutions).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cGMP/GLP standard operating procedures preferred.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and be open to occasional local travel.
