Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests to ensure the quality of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Inspect and analyze samples to ensure compliance with cGMP/GLP standard operating procedures.
- Identify imperfections in samples using mechanical/electronic equipment and chemical analysis.
- Document data, report results, and perform equipment verification and calibration.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Basic mathematical and statistical skills.
- Basic laboratory skills (e.g. pipetting, weighing, dilutions, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with standard assay procedures, IR, HPLC, PCR, Real-Time PCR.
- 0-3 years of previous laboratory experience.
