Position Overview:

The Cybersecurity Threat Assessment Leader plays a pivotal role in the Cyber Threat Defense organization at Bank of America. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing financial security through proactive engagement and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Location:
Remote options available across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate regular interactions with risk analysts and senior executives to ensure alignment with Cyber Threat Defense initiatives.
  • Engage in constructive discussions regarding risk management to address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to inquiries from audit, risk, or regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with team members across Service Delivery to develop comprehensive responses to stakeholder requests.
  • Establish and manage relationships with partners in information security to support strategic engagement efforts.
  • Deliver tailored reporting solutions to first line, risk, and audit partners to enhance transparency and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for program enhancements and operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity threat controls.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in written communication, PowerPoint presentations, and verbal delivery.
  • Ability to work autonomously to resolve issues and propose solutions.
  • Comfortable communicating complex information to diverse audiences with varying technical expertise.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with peers and management at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Experience in risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of working with executive leadership across an organization.
  • Ability to bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel.
