Job Summary

As the Director of Graflex, you will be responsible for leading the development, management, and growth of the Graflex product portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and industry dynamics. You will be responsible for driving innovation, profitability, and overall success of the Graflex product line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive product line strategy that aligns with the overall goals of Salvo Technologies Inc. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve new product introduction (NPI) goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research, including voice of customer (VOC) and competitor analysis, to identify opportunities and trends. Make informed decisions about product positioning, pricing, and features.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the budget (profit and loss statement) for the Graflex product line, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and profitability. Monitor financial performance and take corrective action as needed to meet budget.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Create and execute go-to-market plans, including marketing, sales, and distribution strategies. Collaborate with marketing to develop effective campaigns and sales materials.
  • Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Graflex. Assess performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire your team to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. Create a culture of accountability.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively address them to ensure the success of the Graflex product line.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team and the organization.
Requirements

English is the primary communication language. Excellent written and communication skills are required. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and coordinate across departments when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to direct and manage a profit and loss statement (P&L).
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is desired.
  • Ten plus years of experience in managing a P&L.
  • Ten plus years of directing a multifunctional team.
Physical and Mental Demands

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The ideal candidate should be able to lift 15 pounds at times and access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. This position is on-site, with no remote work option.
