Talascend is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a contract opportunity.

OVERVIEW:

Conducts evaluations and establishes quality control testing frameworks for the assessment of raw materials, in-process materials, and final products.

Relies on established protocols and guidelines to execute job functions. Operates under direct supervision. Primary responsibilities typically do not necessitate independent decision-making. Generally reports to a supervisor or manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's degree in Electronics or equivalent professional experience. Capable of gathering precise measurements and maintaining test documentation. Familiarity with data logging tools is advantageous.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related discipline.
  • Mechanical skills - ability to construct test panels.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Strong work ethic, effective communication skills, attention to detail, adherence to instructions, and a results-oriented mindset. Collaborates with team members to achieve collective goals.
  • Adheres to regulatory standards, documentation protocols, and collaborates with Quality, Test Engineering, and Regulatory teams. Clear evaluation and communication of issues. Engages in problem-solving methodologies such as Fishbone Diagrams, 5S, PFMEA, Black Belt, etc.
  • Possesses knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the relevant field.
