Position Overview:
MMR is in search of candidates for the position of Lead Project Engineer.

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing project controls organization, planning, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Leading a team of project controls professionals on-site.
  • Developing and maintaining the project Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule.
  • Addressing daily challenges to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Creating and managing job tracking systems, including schedule, productivity, and cost metrics.
  • Conducting cost management activities, including forecasting and budget analysis.
  • Identifying and submitting Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Participating in regular client update meetings.
  • Preparing and delivering weekly client update reports.
  • Managing change orders and coordinating with site supervision to develop work packages.
  • Preparing and submitting client invoices and maintaining various logs (RFI, change order, invoice, etc.).
  • Updating schedule of values and ensuring accurate client invoicing.
  • Managing materials, equipment, and subcontractors as necessary.
  • Generating client-specific reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project controls management.
  • Preferred experience in electrical and instrumentation construction.
  • Strong background in industrial construction is advantageous.
  • Proficient in estimating, scheduling, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office and Primavera P6 software.
  • Capability to create CPM schedules and identify critical paths.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
