Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizing project controls, planning, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
  • Leading a team of project controls professionals on-site.
  • Developing and maintaining the project Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule.
  • Addressing daily challenges to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Creating and managing job tracking systems for schedule, productivity, and costs.
  • Overseeing cost management, including forecasting and budget analysis.
  • Identifying and submitting Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Participating in weekly updates with clients.
  • Preparing and delivering weekly progress reports to clients.
  • Managing change orders and coordinating with site supervision to develop work packages.
  • Preparing and submitting client invoices.
  • Maintaining logs for RFIs, change orders, invoices, and other essential documentation.
  • Updating schedules of values and preparing client invoices.
  • Managing materials, equipment, and subcontractors as necessary.
  • Generating reports tailored to client specifications.
  • Performing additional tasks as required to align with the organization's objectives.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project controls management.
  • Preferred experience in electrical and instrumentation construction.
  • Preferred experience in industrial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Primavera P6 software.
  • Capability to create CPM schedules and identify critical paths.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.
