This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients while also becoming a pivotal leader within our risk management practice.

Key Responsibilities:
As a consultant, you will be tasked with:

  • Managing existing client relationships from acquired risk management firms.
  • Developing and expanding our risk management services across the United States.
  • Leading, selling, and delivering consulting services on a fee-basis to our clients.

About Our Risk Management Practice:
Our practice focuses on a variety of risk management services, including:

  • Handling risk renewals and conducting insurance analysis projects.
  • Managing captives, cell or rent-a-captives, deductible plans, quota share plans, and retrospective rating plans.
  • Serving multiple industries such as banking & financial services, real estate, manufacturing, life sciences, and high technology.

The primary revenue model is based on fees rather than commissions.

Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A solid understanding of insurance policy terms and conditions, especially in the property casualty sector.
  • A strong desire to learn and contribute to the growth of our risk management practice.
  • Some background in insurance and/or risk management.
  • Knowledge of complex risk financing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong presentation abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.

Language and Mathematical Skills:
Candidates should be able to:

  • Read and write reports, business correspondence, and technical procedures.
  • Effectively present information and respond to inquiries from clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills.

Reasoning and Problem-Solving:
We seek individuals who can:

  • Address practical problems and navigate a variety of concrete variables.
  • Interpret diverse instructions provided in written or oral form.

Physical and Work Environment:
The physical demands of this role include:

  • Regularly using hands for tasks such as handling or feeling.
  • Occasionally standing and walking.
  • Maintaining close vision and the ability to focus.

The work environment is typically moderate in noise level.
