Lewis & Ellis, Inc., a leading national actuarial and insurance consulting firm, in collaboration with acquired risk management consulting entities, is expanding and is in search of a skilled professional.

This is a remarkable opportunity to make a significant impact not only with our clientele but also to emerge as a leader within our risk management consulting division.

We are currently looking for a consultant to (a) manage the existing clientele from acquired risk management firms and (b) enhance and expand our risk management services throughout the US market.

The ideal candidate will spearhead, market, and deliver consulting services on a fee-basis to our clients.

About the Risk Management Division:

Overseeing risk renewals, conducting insurance analysis projects, managing captives, cell or rent-a-captives, deductible plans, quota share plans, and retrospective rating plans across various sectors including banking & financial services, real estate, manufacturing, life sciences, and high technology.

Our primary revenue model is fee-only, rather than commission-based.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience Requirements:
Familiarity with insurance policy terms and conditions, particularly in the property and casualty domain
A strong desire to learn and develop a risk management practice
Some background in insurance and/or risk management
Understanding of complex risk financing strategies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Preferred educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.
Language Skills
Ability to read and write reports, business correspondence, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

Capability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of prospects and clients, as well as managers and other employees within the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills.
Reasoning Ability

Ability to address practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Capability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written or oral form.
