**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide friendly and helpful service to guests, acknowledging them within 30 seconds of their entry into the shop.
  • Anticipate guest needs and convey enthusiasm and a genuine sense of interest in the guest.
  • Achieve hourly and monthly sales goals by suggesting items that meet the guest's needs and explaining the features and benefits of the item offered.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with sincere desire to please our guests and work well as a part of a team.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while being attentive to guests.
  • Build rapport with guests and identify their needs by listening and asking open-ended questions.
  • Operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash, room charges, and credit cards.
  • Take initiative without supervision and adapt to change as needed.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 6-12 months sales experience required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and management.
  • Ability to use and understand The Greenbrier Point of Sale Retail system.
  • Basic computer skills and math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift at least 30 pounds.
