Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Foreman to lead and manage our excavation crews. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing progress at our heavy civil construction and excavating sites, ensuring maximum productivity while adhering to budgetary constraints.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with proven experience in team management within the heavy civil construction industry. You will serve as the intermediary between workers and supervisors, schedule and plan daily work activities, assign tasks to field employees, and monitor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee progress at heavy civil construction and excavating sites.
  • Serve as the intermediary between workers and supervisors.
  • Schedule and plan daily work activities.

  • Ensure proper machinery is utilized at job sites.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion.
  • Implement and oversee health and safety procedures on the job.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Foreman in heavy civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of job sites, crew management, and excavation projects.

  • Negative drug/alcohol test results.
  • Background/security clearance.
