Key Responsibilities:
As a Foreman, your duties will encompass but are not limited to:

  • Managing and overseeing all facets of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Supervising and coordinating the efforts of construction personnel and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring that work is performed in accordance with company protocols, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Planning and organizing work schedules in alignment with project specifications.
  • Reviewing and inspecting the work completed by the crew and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Executing tasks related to excavation, mass grading, and asphalt operations.
  • Documenting daily reports that outline the work accomplished, resources used, and any challenges faced.
  • Addressing any issues that may arise during the construction process.
  • Training and mentoring team members to cultivate a high-performance workforce.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Foreman or in a comparable role within the construction field.
  • Demonstrated experience in excavation, mass grading, and asphalt operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction processes and equipment.
  • A solid grasp of health and safety regulations pertinent to the construction industry.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
  • A valid driver's license and the capability to travel to various job sites.
