Senior Grants and Contracts Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
Provide analytical and financial support in proposal review and submission.
Process JIT requests, review and negotiate agreements, draft subawards, complete subrecipient risk assessments, and develop subrecipient monitoring plans.
Act as the Sponsored Programs Administration team expert in all sponsored program matters related to awards.
Manage a high volume of proposals and subaward applications.
Advise faculty members on funding opportunities and review proposal guidelines.
Serve as liaison with other client's departments for proposal preparation, review, and submission.
Ensure submissions comply with agency and institutional policies.
Collect compliance documentation (FCOI, IRB, etc.) for new applications and progress reports.
Coordinate proposal submission and resolve concerns before deadlines.
Review and facilitate the execution of sponsored programs agreements and modifications.
Assist Award Administrator in setting up and modifying project accounts.
Develop monitoring plans and manage subrecipient agreements.
Maintain database for agreements and amendments.
Facilitate Purchase Orders (PO) requests for new subawards and amendments.
Participate in the single audit process and provide documentation for subrecipient monitoring.
Interpret subcontracts for Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) report submission.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Three years of relevant work experience in grants administration.
Knowledge of grant management systems: InfoEd, Commbuys, and other sponsor portals.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of program administration guidelines of Federal, local government, and other non-Federal sponsors.
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Code of Federal Regulations, sponsor-specific policies, intellectual property policy, conflict of interest requirements, publication rights, and indirect cost rates.
Ability to manage high volume and complex transactions.
Experience with all types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative agreements.
Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
Education: Bachelors Degree
