About the Role

Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database and Donor Stewardship Specialist to join our Fund Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our fundraising efforts and ensuring the integrity of our donor database.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Management: Enter all donor-related data into Salesforce, ensuring accurate contact information and preferences on donor records.
  • Acknowledgement Letters: Produce timely and accurate acknowledgement letters for all relevant donations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Build and produce accurate reports for direct mail lists and on donations, budget progress, and donor contact information for mailing lists, emails, and other purposes.
  • Donor Research and Stewardship: Partner with Fund Development colleagues to complete donor research and creating donor prospecting briefs.
  • Donor Events and Prospects: Support Fund Development donor events and prospects by attending events, helping with RSVP tracking, and logging gifts.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience on or with a fundraising team.
  • Database Skills: Experience with a Donor CRM database, preferably Salesforce, and willingness to learn donation processing and prospecting systems.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication skills, including the ability to write and speak clearly and effectively.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel within HGSF's tri-county service area if needed.
