Job Summary

The Donor Stewardship and Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the administration of the Recurring Donor Program, supporting donor-related events, maintaining a robust donor recognition plan, and providing essential administrative and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Management: Administer the Recurring Donor Program by monitoring transactions, updating donor records, and conducting follow-up communications through emails and phone calls to sustain donation levels.
  • Event and Donor Support: Assist in organizing donor-related actions, intimate events, special programming, tours, networking, and stewardship opportunities to enhance donor engagement.
  • Stewardship: Develop and maintain a donor recognition plan that promptly and significantly acknowledges all giving levels.
  • Administrative and Operational Support: Oversee office management by organizing operations and procedures in the development office, managing supply requisitions, and overseeing clerical functions.
  • Financial Documentation: Manage the creation of invoices for community partners, ensuring financial transactions are accurately documented and processed.
Requirements
  • Education/Experience: Proven experience in customer management and operational support.
  • Professional Skills: Ability to interact with various donors and community members, strong planning and organizational skills, comfort making connections through phone calls, and ability to track and report on goals.
  • Personal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a natural flair for nurturing relationships and networking, proactive and self-motivated attitude, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Technology Skills: Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education/Experience: Proven donor management experience or a similar nonprofit organization role, experience with event planning and management, familiarity with financial documentation and invoicing processes.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
