Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent, timely, and professional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of essential coverages and risk management strategies.
- Facilitate the marketing of new and renewal insurance policies.
- Maintain ongoing communication and cooperation with internal team members.
- Evaluate existing coverages and contractual obligations, offering insights on necessary adjustments; coordinate claims reviews; educate clients on potential exclusions and risks, and conduct contract assessments to advise on insurance requirements.
- Foster and nurture relationships with clients and relevant team members.
- Update applications and general information within the agency management system.
- Oversee audits, endorsements, certificates, proposals, policy verification, and all aspects of policy service and maintenance.
- Conduct all operations in line with established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a valid PA Property & Casualty Insurance license along with all required continuing education.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
- Licensed in Pennsylvania for Property/Casualty.
- Prior experience with Applied EPIC is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Capability to delegate tasks and follow up as necessary.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in building and sustaining effective relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues.
- Negotiation skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
