Position Overview:
The Patient Services Technician plays a crucial role in our outpatient treatment program, working under the guidance of the Social Services Manager. This position is essential in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the outpatient treatment initiatives as directed by the Social Services Manager.
- Perform data entry tasks and manage Urine Analysis collection efficiently.
- Propose and advocate for enhancements in program policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional services while maintaining the least restrictive conditions for clients.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least two years of relevant office experience is necessary.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management is essential.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and follow directions from program administrative staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in the human services sector is preferred.
- A background in human development, chemical dependency, group dynamics, or related fields is advantageous.
- Prior experience in Urine Analysis collection and monitoring is beneficial.
