Job Title: Business Development Representative
Job Summary:
Amplify Recruiting is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Strategy Development:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the manufacturing industry.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales and revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to align the company's offerings with market demand.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with new and existing clients.
- Sales Growth:
- Generate leads, qualify prospects, and manage the sales pipeline to close deals effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and tailored solutions for clients.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Industry Networking and Representation:
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness.
- Develop a strong network of industry contacts to drive business opportunities.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide customer feedback to help refine product offerings and services.
- Principle Duties:
- CRM Database updating opportunities creation and reporting.
- Direct outbound calling campaign.
- Field calls and emails from select customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provide critical data for estimators.
Requirements:
- Minimum level of education/training required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum experience required: 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and die design.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Will have accomplished the following:
- Experience independently closing individual accounts with revenue over $250K+.
- Average deal size $50K-100K.
- Advanced knowledge of software and manufacturing technology.
- Experience with project management in a manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events up to 1⁄2 of the time.
- License or certificate required: Driver's license is required.
