Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional dining experiences in various settings and leading a team of culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate both back and front-of-house operations, ensuring adherence to our company's policies and applicable laws.
  • Maintain a high-quality culinary program and process all financial reporting.
  • Develop and innovate menus that captivate and delight our customers.
  • Lead purchasing, inventory controls, and cost controls for labor and food.
  • Conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs to uphold the highest standards.
  • Lead in hiring, mentoring, counseling, and developing staff; actively lead team developments.
  • Maintain outstanding business etiquette and client relations.
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree in Culinary Arts is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of five years of dynamic culinary management experience in a high-volume setting.
  • Corporate dining experience preferred.
  • Innovative and self-starter with the ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude under pressure and the ability to empower the team.
  • Knowledgeable on HACCP controls and accurate storage and use of food.
  • Proficient in purchasing, food storage, and sanitation
  • Strong understanding of P&L and financial reporting.
  • Expertise in budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls
  • Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and training skills
  • Proficient digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
