Key Responsibilities
As an Artisan Pizza Chef, your role will include:

  • Crafting high-quality pizzas.
  • Managing multiple food orders simultaneously.
  • Leading a team and collaborating effectively.
  • Monitoring the oven and ensuring optimal cooking conditions.
  • Refreshing cheese, sauce, and topping containers to maintain quality.
  • Organizing and labeling all ingredients for easy access.
  • Measuring and preparing ingredients accurately.
  • Preparing cooking ingredients, including washing and chopping vegetables and cutting meats.
  • Setting up workstations and ingredients in accordance with recipes.
  • Ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Completing opening and closing checklists diligently.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace throughout the kitchen.

Job Requirements

Language Proficiency

  • English (required)
  • Basic Spanish (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience as a pizza chef.
  • Hands-on experience with pizza dough preparation and baking.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

  • Commitment to thorough and meticulous work methods.

  • Understanding of systems and procedures within the organization to identify potential challenges and opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $17-$24, based on experience.
  • Weekly pay schedule.
