Job Overview

Core Responsibilities:
In this dynamic position, you will deliver engineering and advisory services across a diverse range of projects and clientele. This may involve conducting and/or overseeing field assessments, engineering evaluations, calculations, and recommendations, as well as the design and formulation of plans and specifications. You will also engage in observation and inspection activities, along with the drafting, preparation, and review of pertinent reports for the services rendered.

Your role will include reviewing designs and construction efforts to ensure adherence to established plans and specifications. You will prepare proposals and cost assessments, monitor and evaluate project progress, budgets, and suggest modifications as necessary. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve design and construction challenges while assigning, reviewing, and assessing laboratory or field data for inclusion in reports.

Ultimately, you will apply robust engineering principles and effectively communicate intricate engineering matters and concepts to both technical and non-technical clients and project teams. Services may be rendered for existing or proposed projects within the public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and/or industrial sectors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Champion safety initiatives for the team and ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Encourage ongoing quality monitoring and enhancement on projects.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project-related risks and implement protective measures for the Company.
  • Serve as a senior engineering professional providing the technical guidance necessary for the successful execution of both routine and complex projects.
  • Be responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative strategy for a significant phase of a large project or hold overall responsibility for the engineering tasks on a project of moderate scope.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate engineering activities involving conventional engineering practices, which may include a variety of complex features and collaborative departmental resources.
  • Review projects necessitating sophisticated and innovative investigation techniques and oversee the analysis and formulation of recommendations in written reports to clients.
  • Make informed decisions based on cutting-edge technology considerations and a growth mindset across office and company-wide resources and services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8-11 years of relevant experience.
  • A Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required. A valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history is also necessary.
