About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator with Human Resources Experience to join our team in Washington, MO. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in managing HR policies, employee benefits, personnel administration, and payroll processes.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including entering and updating HR data, responding to inquiries, coordinating interview scheduling, and preparing offer letters. You will also conduct background checks, reference checks, and order drug screenings, as well as prepare orientation packages and schedule start dates for new hires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update HR data for new hires and changes to employee positions.
  • Respond to HR and payroll inquiries, providing first-line assistance to employees.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and prepare offer letters.
  • Conduct background checks, reference checks, and order drug screenings.
  • Prepare orientation packages and schedule start dates for new hires.
  • Create and maintain accurate physical and electronic employee files.
  • Process payroll and benefit forms for new employees.
  • Review and verify payroll and benefits accuracy for all employees.
  • Update and maintain employee records.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll management and 3+ years of experience in human resources.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with payroll systems and HR software.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
