About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our Camfil USA Air Filtration Company team in Washington, NC. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading strategic talent acquisition initiatives, driving operational excellence in HR practices, and fostering a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your expertise in HRIS implementation and maintenance to optimize our systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to develop and direct people strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Provide consultation and problem-solving on organizational design and development, change management, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Counsel department managers and supervisors on matters of discipline, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
  • Manage the planning, administration, and implementation of HR project initiatives, including talent reviews, workforce planning, and process improvements.
  • Analyze headcount requirements, absenteeism, and turnover data to ensure attainment of productivity goals and retention levels.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Create learning and development programs to provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Facilitate/lead new hire orientation, manage personnel transactions, and administer payroll.
  • Conduct exit interviews, manage employment verifications, and facilitate benefit and insurance plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing HR role; manufacturing HR leadership role preferred.
  • Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Experience managing all aspects of a manufacturing HR department, including ADP payroll software.
  • Proficient in HR and labor metrics and analytics, with strong analytical skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lean into uncomfortable topics and crucial conversations.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
